Jen Hawley is a troubadour extraordinaire!

Jen Hawley is a troubadour extraordinaire!  Best known for her work as a guitarist and vocalist, Jen’s diverse performances range from sublime jazz ensembles to fabulous roving characters. Jen has been playing in bands around Australia and Asia for the past ten years and has established a fine reputation as a guitarist, singer and composer. She trained in classical guitar, studied jazz with Bruce Clarke and has been teaching for many years. During the last 5 years Jen has also made a name for herself as a guitar workshop tutor at community music events and is a founder of the successful Community project ‘supporting Women in Blues’.

Jen now has diverse interests in jazz and world music. She performs regularly at popular venues with The Royal High Jinx, Alanna and Alicia Egan, Alex Burns, Great Chefs of Europe, Flirting Mazurkas, Groove Electrique, Ruby and Ginger and the Tall Poppies.

Career highlights include NYE in Shanghai for the Glamour Bar, the MCC Grand Final Lunch, St Kilda Festival, Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival and 100’s of fabulous corporate events for clients such as VRC, Tennis Australia, IBM, ANZ and Clayton Utz.
